Old Business:
- A question was asked regarding whether we
received payment for the final banner. Florene was not present to
let us know.
- October 5th was the KT dedication.
The chamber provided rolls and coffee in the morning and did a
ribbon cutting at 1 pm.
- Christmas was discussed. Joyce presented
information on the status of the Christmas Calendar and will get a
preliminary copy to Diana to run by the Retail Trade group. Pat
spoke with the Jaycee’s and Cheryl Flaa regarding the Christmas
movies and that is in the process. Diana informed the Board that
SVCC agreed to contribute $200 towards the cost of the movies –
which will be greatly appreciated. Al has been in contact with
Otter Tail regarding the lighting contest and should have more
information at the next meeting. Diana will contact Eldeen
regarding the Santa House and find out who to contact when it comes
time to decorate/etc. It was determined to send out postcards to
all businesses for any additional items for our Christmas Calendar.
John Thelen volunteered to do some follow-up. Thanks John!
- Joyce is undecided as to whether to accept the
secretary/treasurer role in 2003. She will have an answer for us by
the next meeting.

The Arctic Blast was discussed. We’re continuing to
move ahead in the planning. We’ll need to get started on flyers,

areas.
- Diana will contact the Youth Center and Parrot
Bay regarding possible ribbon cuttings.
