Despite the lack of snow, all other events such as the Chili Cook-off, Fish Derby, Golfing and Polar Plunge had a great turn-out. Ideas for next year that were discussed include: a. Chili Cook-off – Invite Aaron Peterson’s band to play again b. Fishing Derby - Possibly expand the Fishing Derby to include adults. Would need to follow-up with the Sportsman Club. Also, fundraise more money for prizes for the Fishing Derby c. Golfing – Possibly have the Golf Club of Canby sponsor this activity d. Snow Sculpting – Possibly have Ice Sculpting instead of Snow Sculpting e. Polar Plunge – Consider having proceeds go to a particular charity f. Klondike Kate – Possibly sponsor “Variety Contest” either on Thurs or Sat night
