Snow
Sculpture Contest 2004 Rules
Get your friends
and neighbors together and build a snow sculpture at Del Clark
Lake on Saturday, January 24, 2004. Register with Deb Full at
Canby High School, 223-2002. Sponsored by CHS Student Council.
- Teams are
limited to a maximum of 10 members.
- Teams are to
be given a space that is 8’ x 8’ in diameter. Teams are
allowed to bring in extra snow.
- No completed
sculptures can be brought. All must be built on the site
between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Sculptures can
be no more than 10ft. high.
- Food coloring
and decorations will be permitted on sculptures.
- Each team is
required to bring their own equipment (buckets, shovels and
utensils) for sculpting.
- The sculpture
shall not express political views, bigotry, or sexual content.
- Due to safety
precautions, no hollowed-out sculpture designs will be
allowed.
- There is an
entry fee of $25.00 per team. (Please make checks out to
Canby High School)
A Grand Prize and
an Honorable mention will be awarded.
