Rules

Clue 1  Monday, January 16 at the theatre

Old Polar Bear is back for Artic Blast,

And the Medallion hunt has been cast.

Follow the rules or this hunt may be the last.

If you can make sense of the clues you can find it fast.

Make sure you buy a button and pin it on your clothes.

That way you are ready from your head down to your toes.

Buy a button and you can collect $300.00 in Canby bucks instead of $150.00.

The medallion will be located in the greater Canby area and you do not have to dig for it according to the rules.

Clue 2 Tuesday, January 17 in the Canby News

The first letter in each direction makes up the word “news”.

Remember that as you try to solve each one of the clues.

The word “news” stands for North, East, West and South.  Remembering this will help you solve a clue later on.

Clue 3  Friday, January 20 at the theatre

Old Polar Bear’s yelling, the air doth turn blue,

“We can’t have them finding the thing in a day or two.”

We do not want you to find the medallion right away.

Clue 4  Saturday, January 21 at the theatre

It’s now in a place where the kid’s will play

New ventures coming this year maybe May.

It is located in a public area where kids play.  Both young and old kids play here.  We have a local person working on building a sand box play area for the kid’s which is the new venture.  You would have heard about this at a council meeting

Clue 5  Sunday, January 22 at the theatre

The clues are simpler now as hurriedly we seek.

We must find its hiding place no later than this week.

If you find the shelter you’ll know that you are close,

There’s more, but all for now lest we get verbose.

The medallion will need to be found this week to claim the money.  There is a shelter in this area close to where the medallion is hid.

Clue 6  Monday, January 23 at the theatre

Still up a creek?

Here’s where to peak.

Be it “news” to the end

Follow the road round the bend.

The creek is Canby Creek that crosses Highway 75 .  Again the word “news”, the end of news is S for south and round the bend is the curve in Highway 75 S near the ball field.

Clue 7  Tuesday, January 24 in the Canby News

You’ve heard it before and you may think its lame

For it’s one-two-three strikes your out in the old ball game.

At the ball field.

Clue 8  Friday at the Chili Cook off at the VFW

Many a cheer can be heard real near

Four foot in, with cold on my skin!

A cheer being heard from the bleachers on the ground four foot in
