Artic Blast Medallion Hunt
The Medallion has been
found. Tom Longtin from Canby found the medallion on
Tuesday afternoon. It was located under the bleachers
four foot in from the end at the ball field near Sylvan
Lake.
Thank you for all who were
searching.
The medallion will be back
next year.
Find it and you will not
have the blues.

Rules
Clue 1 Monday, January 16 at the
theatre
Old Polar Bear is back for
Artic Blast,
And the Medallion hunt has
been cast.
Follow the rules or this
hunt may be the last.
If you can make sense of the
clues you can find it fast.
Make sure you buy a button
and pin it on your clothes.
That way you are ready from
your head down to your toes.
Buy a button and you can collect $300.00
in Canby bucks instead of $150.00.
The medallion will be located in the
greater Canby area and you do not have to dig for it according
to the rules.
Clue 2 Tuesday, January 17 in the
Canby News
The first letter in each
direction makes up the word “news”.
Remember that as you try to
solve each one of the clues.
The word “news” stands for North, East,
West and South. Remembering this will help you solve a clue
later on.
Clue 3 Friday, January 20 at the
theatre
Old Polar Bear’s yelling,
the air doth turn blue,
“We can’t have them finding
the thing in a day or two.”
We do not want you to find the medallion
right away.
Clue 4 Saturday, January 21 at
the theatre
It’s now in a place where
the kid’s will play
New ventures coming this
year maybe May.
It is located in a
public area where kids play. Both young and old kids play
here. We have a local person working on building a sand box
play area for the kid’s which is the new venture. You would
have heard about this at a council meeting
Clue 5 Sunday, January 22 at the
theatre
The clues are simpler now as
hurriedly we seek.
We must find its hiding
place no later than this week.
If you find the shelter
you’ll know that you are close,
There’s more, but all for
now lest we get verbose.
The medallion will need to be found this
week to claim the money. There is a shelter in this area close
to where the medallion is hid.
Clue 6 Monday, January 23 at the
theatre

Here’s where to peak.
Be it “news” to the end
Follow the road round the
bend.
The creek is Canby Creek that crosses
Highway 75 . Again the word “news”, the end of news is S for
south and round the bend is the curve in Highway 75 S near the
ball field.
